Friday, April 17th

Hello everybody!! 👋😄🙋
What day is it today??? Today is...

As you have worked really hard to learn the names of the planets, we want to finish this week with a super fun activity!

LET'S DO A HOMEMADE WINDOW CLING!!

Choose your favourite planet and follow the instructions for a successful window cling:

YOU WILL NEED:
✅ 2 tablespoons 🥄🥄 of white glue.
✅ 2 drops 💧💧 of dish soap.
✅ Food colouring or colour glue 🎨 (or anything you have at home that can dye the mix)
✅ 1 plastic page protector or plastic base (necessary for the window cling to come unglued when it's dry)
✅ 1 paintbrush or spoon
✅ 1 cookie cutter or rounded mould (optional)

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

1. Start by mixing the glue, the dish soap and the colouring together.

2. Then, use a paintbrush to paint a design on the plastic page protector. You can also fill in a cookie cutter with the coloured mix to make it easier. (It shouldn't be too thick or it won't dry very well)

3. Let the design  dry on the plastic page protector. It will take a few hours, depending on how thick the coat was.

4. When it is dry, peel it off the plastic page protector and stick it on your favourite window!!

5. When it's ready, ask for help to send your picture of the window cling by email to cdiaz@northfield.edu.ar

I hope you like the idea...You can do any shape once you know the steps!!

HAVE FUN CRAFTING & CREATING YOUR PLANETS!

We hope you have a wonderful weekend 💞 See you on Monday!
