Why is George the “smartest” giant in town?

Some words in English have the same spelling but different meanings.
“SMART” is a clear example of this.

In the story “The Gruffalo”, the mouse was a smart character because he
was very intelligent.

In the story “The Smartest Giant in Town”, George is also smart. Is it because
he is intelligent? We will have to start reading to discover why George
is the SMARTEST giant in town!!

Let’s start reading!!
(TODAY WE WILL READ PAGES 3-6 FROM THE PDF)

Now take a LOOK at this vocabulary chart with lots of words to name clothes.
We will be using it during all the project. (If you click on it you can open
the picture in another tab and print it!)

ANSWER these questions in the copybook. We will discuss them during
our meet session:

1-  Why does he want to look smart?
2-  What was he wearing before?
3-  What did he buy?

See you tomorrow!!!! 💚🙋
